Textured Proteins
We offer the vegetarian and vegan world a wide range of vegetable textured proteins that differ in protein content, shape, colour and texture. We offer vegetable textured proteins derived from different raw materials (soy, peas, broad beans). These are used to produce restructured products with different shapes selected by customers for end use or for the technical requirements of the processing plant. We also vary their colour gradations upon request.
In addition, after years of experience and development, by modifying the quantity, timing and quality of the processed vegetable textured proteins, we have succeeded in achieving fibrous textures very similar to those of chicken meat or the consistency of minced meat or the palatability of fish products.
These valuable analogue alternatives nevertheless retain the advantages of the vegetable product: they provide high amounts of protein of vegetable origin – so-called noble proteins due to their complete amino acid profile. When cooked or processed, they stand out for a number of advantages: from excellent absorption of liquids or sauces to the retention of texture and structure. As they are entirely plant-based, they are ingredients specifically designed for vegans and vegetarians, but also meet the needs of new trends such as the new flexitarian diet.
