Pea Flour
Peas have always been a popular food. As pea stew, they are a classic of home cooking. But the protein-rich green legume is far more versatile. Pea flour consists of dried yellow or green peas. These are cleaned, thermally treated and then toasted and ground into fine flour. Due to the gentle processing, the pea flour retains its natural components. Pea flour is rich in protein and fibre and contains comparatively few carbohydrates. The pea flour is produced at the Austrian Witzmann Mill from guaranteed genetically unmodified peas grown in Europe.
