Granules are used in the dough of baked goods such as bread and biscuits, as well as in bar and snack mixes and breakfast cereals. The granules contribute to the taste, aroma, crunchiness and texture of the final product. Thanks to the antioxidant properties of some raw materials (for example lupin), some grains are also suitable for use in products for special diets.
