Starches
Starches are complex carbohydrates that play an important role in nutrition. They are formed from water and carbon dioxide by chlorophyll photosynthesis and are deposited in the form of grains in roots, but also in seeds and tubers, after the process is complete. Starch is an important energy supplier that covers our body’s daily needs.
The starches we offer are made from various sources: Grains such as rice, corn, legumes such as peas or tubers such as tapioca.
