Organic Rapeseed Oil

Rapeseed oil is obtained from the seeds of the rapeseed plant. Bright yellow rape fields dominate the landscape in early summer in many places. Thanks to the spread of modern rapeseed varieties with a low content of bitter substances, rapeseed oil is now considered a good edible oil. In private households, rapeseed oil is used as salad oil, for example. Food manufacturers also use it to make margarine or as the main ingredient in mayonnaise. Compared to other oils, it contains the least saturated fatty acids and is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and omega-3 fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid). It also contains a lot of vitamin E.
